EarProtect Earmuffs EP903, red/black

Loud noise, high frequencies

Grinding, cutting-off, sawing and compressed air blow-off mainly produce high frequencies. Here the H value counts more than the SNR: with H 36 dB, the EP903 attenuates even more than the EP902. For low-frequency noise, on the other hand, it is weaker (L 18 dB); there the EP902 is the better choice.

How to read H, M and L is explained in SNR and H/M/L.

Correct use in four steps

  1. 01

    Open the cups

Pull the cups outwards and place them over the ears.

  2. 02

    Enclose the ears

The cushions must completely enclose the ears and sit tightly against the head. Hair, caps or spectacle arms disturb the seal.

  3. 03

    Adjust the height

Adjust the height of both cups until the fit is firm and comfortable. The headband sits straight on the head.

  4. 04

    Clean

After use, clean cushions and foam pads with mild soap and water or alcohol wipes and leave them to air-dry.

Frequently asked questions

What is the EP903 particularly suitable for?

For noise with many high frequencies such as grinding, sawing or compressed air. With H 36 dB, it has the highest H value of the EarProtect earmuffs.

How strongly does the EP903 attenuate low frequencies?

L 18 dB. For low-frequency noise from compressors or engines, the EP902 with L 23 dB is better suited.
