Quickly in, quickly out
Anyone who puts in and takes out hearing protection several times an hour saves time with flanged earplugs: no rolling, no waiting for the foam. The flanges adapt to the ear canal and seal it.
For pre-moulded earplugs, DGUV Rule 112-194 applies a real-world deduction of 5 dB. From the M value of 29 dB, a calculated 24 dB remains, suitable for mid- to high-frequency noise of about 94 to 104 dB(A).
Cleaning and storage
Clean after every use with a mild cleaning agent, let dry completely and keep in the storage box. Do not wring, do not use chemical cleaners. According to the user instructions, the earplugs can be used up to five times; replace damaged earplugs immediately.
Correct use in four steps
- 01
Wash your hands
Clean your hands before inserting; the earplug goes straight into the ear canal.
- 02
Pull the ear
Gently pull the ear upwards with one hand.
- 03
Insert
Guide the tip into the ear canal until the flanges sit tightly and comfortably.
- 04
Remove
Twist out slowly, never with a jerk. On corded models, do not pull on the cord.
