EarProtect Banded earplugs EP100BY, blue/yellow

For short periods of noise

Maintenance, inspection rounds, moving materials through the hall: anyone who repeatedly has to go into noisy areas for a short time puts on banded earplugs faster than foam earplugs and doesn't lose them. DGUV Rule 112-194 applies a 5 dB real-world deduction to banded earplugs; from the M value of 26 dB, 21 dB remain.

The earplugs are 14.5 mm in size, the band is 154.5 mm high. Unopened, the product keeps for three years from manufacture according to the user instructions.

Replacement pods

Replacement pods made of PU foam are available separately in the B2B shop in yellow and orange. DS SafetyWear sales will confirm which ones fit your band.

Correct use in four steps

  1. 01

    Position the band

Guide the band under the chin or behind the neck, with the earplugs pointing towards the ears.

  2. 02

    Pull the ear

Pull the ear back with the other hand.

  3. 03

    Press in

Press the earplugs into the ear canals until the noise becomes noticeably quieter.

  4. 04

    Take off

Release slowly with a twisting motion so that the seal does not break abruptly.
