EarProtect Banded earplugs, conical EP102BO, black/orange, blue/orange

Moderate attenuation, no overprotection

M 24 dB minus a 5 dB real-world deduction gives a calculated 19 dB. That makes the EP102BO the first choice for medium levels, where stronger earplugs would push the level at the ear below 70 dB(A). Why that matters is explained in the guide Overprotection.

Two colours

Available in black/orange and blue/orange, packed in units of 400 with 20 per box.

Correct use in four steps

  1. 01

    Position the band

Guide the band under the chin or behind the neck, with the earplugs pointing towards the ears.

  2. 02

    Pull the ear

Pull the ear back with the other hand.

  3. 03

    Press in

Press the earplugs into the ear canals until the noise becomes noticeably quieter.

  4. 04

    Take off

Release slowly with a twisting motion so that the seal does not break abruptly.
